State police at Bethlehem

State police at Bethlehem reported on the following incidents investigated by troopers:

• On July 22 at 10:46 a.m. troopers responded to a one-vehicle crash in the area of Brown Street in Washington Township. While en route troopers were advised that the driver was walking away from the scene. The driver was identified as Tazaris McNair, 22, of Slatington, driving a 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora. He was determined to be under the influence and placed under arrest for driving under the influence of a controlled substance and multiple summary offenses.

• On July 28 at 11:02 a.m. troopers responded to a report of an active domestic incident in the 7800 block of East Hillcrest Lane, in Washington Township. Upon arrival it was determined that Luis Serrano, 33, of Slatington, smashed the front windshield of his girlfriend’s car, a 32-year-old woman from Slatington, using a baseball bat. He was charged with criminal mischief.

• On Aug. 19 at 12:10 a.m. a domestic incident occurred in the area of Friedens Road and Best Station Road in Washington Township. As a result, a 32-year-old woman from Slatington, who troopers declined to identify, was charged with simple assault of a 35-year-old man from Slatington.

• On July 7 at 12:35 p.m. troopers responded to a residence along Mountain Road in Washington Township, regarding a theft of vehicle parts. The 37-year-old male victim from Slatington had surveillance footage of the incident. As a result a 34-year-old woman from Allentown and a 41-year-old man from Easton, who troopers declined to identify, were arrested and charged with theft.

Troopers reported investigating a theft incident. On Aug. 12 troopers responded to St. Peters United Methodist Church, Center Street, Slatington. On scene troopers were informed the catalytic converter on the church’s 2014 Ford E-350 truck had been stolen. The theft occurred sometime between Aug. 8 at noon and Aug. 12 at 8 a.m.

• On Aug. 18 at 11:37 a.m. troopers responded to the 7200 block of Whispering Lane in Washington Township for a report of vehicles being entered. Four residents of the area reported their vehicles had been entered and various items, including cash, was removed.
