Class picnic

The Tamaqua High School Class of 1962 and 1963 will be holding their annual joint summer picnic on Saturday at the Lions Grove “Chapel Pavilion” at Normal Square outside of Lehighton from 11 a.m. until dusk (rain or shine) in a covered pavilion.

All members of both classes and their spouse are invited. Catch up with all your old friends.

We had a sign-up letter sent for preordering a hoagie. If you did not send an order, please do not let that keep you from attending. Quite a few people have opted to bring their own lunch and drinks. Masks are your choice.

We will have a 50/50 money raffle to help defray the cost of grove rental and mailing costs. Please do not bring any items for the raffle.

The Class of ’62 will hold a short meeting at the picnic to decide if, when, and where they would like to hold a 60th class reunion dinner. If you cannot make the picnic but have an opinion for the 60th class reunion celebration, please contact one of the people at the number listed on the picnic invitation you received.
