Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following financial matters last week:

• Purchase of 100 Chromebooks and 100 Chrome licenses from GDC at a cost of $26,579; 30 Cameyo Virtual App Delivery one-year licenses from Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13 Software Sales at a cost of $5,940; and an agreement with USA Staffing Services’ to provide contracted services of a licensed practical nurse for the 2021-2022 school year, all to be funded through the elementary and secondary school grant.

• Paid Northern Lehigh Recreation Authority $6,637 for services provided during the 2021 summer recreation programs at Peters Elementary and Slatington Elementary schools for district students.

• Installation of a heat pump in the stadium press box at a cost not to exceed $3,000, to be funded through the buildings and grounds budget.

• Request of the middle school to close the eighth-grade team account in accordance with the student activities fund guidelines. The account balance is $788, and the funds will be transferred to the middle school student council account.

• Addition of Kades-Margolis to the list of approved 403(b) vendors.
