The menu at the Panther Valley Senior Center for the week of Aug. 9-13 is as follows:

Monday: Sloppy Joe, baked beans, coleslaw, diced peaches or egg salad sandwich

Tuesday: Shrimp scampi, penne pasta, zucchini, ambrosia or salad with turkey

Wednesday: Orange juice, turkey sausage, scrambled eggs, waffle stix, fruit salad or Italian pita

Thursday: Pork and peppers, stir fry vegetables, brown rice, vanilla pudding or chicken salad on a bagel

Friday: Tomato soup, cheesesteak sandwich, potato wedges, grapes or chef salad with chicken

The Panther Valley Senior Center also announced upcoming events for Aug. 9-20.

Po-kenno on Aug. 9 at 11 a.m.; Guest Bingo with The Palmerton on Aug. 10 at 11 a.m.; Speaker William Outwater from American Lifts and Services on Aug. 11 at 11 a.m.; Bingo on Aug. 12 at 10:45 a.m.; Penny Game on Aug. 13 at 11 a.m.

Game Day on Aug. 16 at 10 a.m.; Birthday Bingo on Aug. 17 at 10:45 a.m.; Nickel-Keeno on Aug. 18 at 11 a.m.; Sunshine Meeting on Aug. 19 at 10 a.m.; Movie and Pizza on Aug. 20 at 10 a.m.

Pool, cards, games and socialization available every day.
