At a special public meeting held July 6, Lansford Borough Council members approved a list of streets within the borough that are scheduled to be paved this year.

The 2021 road projects and the cost of each project:

• 100 block of West Kline Street (between Coal and Center streets), $1,920.

• Unit block of West Kline Street, $5,576.

• Unit block of East Line Street, $5,508.

• Leisenring Street from East Patterson to East Bertsch Street, $5,189.

• Cortright Street from West Patterson to West Bertsch Street (next to the stadium), $9,588.

• Edgemont Street, $4,794.

• North Spring Garden Street from Ridge to Patterson Street, including Ridge Street intersection, $4,420.

• South Chestnut Street from Kline Avenue to Abbott Street, $2,448.

• 800 block of East Ridge Street to the top of the grade, $10,296.

Total cost of the 2021 road projects: $49,739.

The borough also approved $4,500 for drainage repairs to Edgemont Street, to be done before the paving project.
