Northern Lehigh School Board — Personnel
Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following personnel matters last Monday:
• Retirements: Cynthia Grammes, Peters Elementary first-grade teacher, effective July 25, after 28 years of service; Deborah Kuhns, cafeteria worker, effective June 14, after 11 years of service; Donna Marks, assistant to the food service director, effective Dec. 31, after six years of service; William Marks, district maintenance worker, effective Jan. 3, 2022, after 5.5 years of service.
• Resignations: Kimberly Deprill, cafeteria/hall monitor, effective May 10; Delores Allen, cafeteria/hall monitor, effective June 11, and Michael Lehtonen, high school winter intramurals approved on the May 10 board agenda, effective June 8.
• Paige Martin, temporary professional employee, senior high school mathematics teacher, $51,750, effective Aug. 24.
• Kristin Garrison, cafeteria monitor, $13.47 an hour, effective May 25.
• Matthew Stevens, skilled maintenance person, HVAC, $31 an hour, effective June 14.
• Administrative transfer of Gabrielle Werkheiser, from high school biology/middle school science teacher, to high school biology teacher, at no change in salary, effective Aug. 24.
• Earl Loch, supervisor for the summertime maintenance/custodial helpers for the summer of 2021, $15 per hour.
• Elijah Roche, summertime maintenance/custodial helper for the summer of 2021, $10 per hour.
• STEAM Camp positions for the summer of 2021, to be funded through the Northern Lehigh Education Foundation: Timothy Weaber (director, $2,580), Jennifer Butz (coordinator, $2,220), Tamara Stubits, Kori Dibilio, Nicole Nightlinger and Christine Leslie (instructors, $1,500 each) to Board President Gary Fedorcha abstained.
• Increase for the lead maintenance position, Christopher Mann, by 50 cents per hour.
• Sarah Kunkel, high school Spanish Club (second semester), $306, co-curricular position for the 2020-21 school year.
• Danielle Dougherty as student representative to the board for the 2021-22 school year. She has been appointed as the junior representative to the board and will serve from September 2021 through June 2023. Paige Craddock will serve as the senior student representative to the board until June 2022.
