Pysanky eggs

The Schuylkill County Historical Society will hold a pysanky egg-making class with Georgine Postupak-Borchick, an expert in this Eastern European decorative craft, at 305 N. Centre St., Pottsville, on June 26, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

COVID-19 protocols will be in place, so attendance is limited.

Featured artist

Lori Quinn, who has been a featured artist at the Walk In Art Center, will speak at the Schuylkill County Historical Society at 6:30 p.m. on June 30, about how the ornaments and other unique details of Pottsville buildings have inspired her work.

The program at the society, 305 N. Centre Street, Pottsville, will include photos and the finished art projects.
