Rich Strack tossed a no-hitter and Jim Thorpe cruised to a 17-0 Lehigh Valley Connie Mack win over Salisbury in five innings.

Strack struck out six on the mound and also helped himself at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI.

Casey McArdle had three hits, including a double, and drove in four runs, and Andrew Bosi also doubled among his three hits and scored three times. Adam Romanchik finished 3-for-4 with three RBIs and three runs scored, while Chip Baldassano (three RBIs, three runs scored), Jack Edwards (two RBIs) and Tanner Yurchak (double, three RBIs, two runs scored) all finished with two hits apiece.

Franklin Township extended its winning streak to seven games with a 17-5 triumph in five innings over Coplay in Lehigh Valley Connie Mack action.

Cameron Gable had three hits, including a double, drove in five runs and scored twice for Franklin. Michael Yeakel also had a double among his two hits, scored three times, stole a base and drove in a run, while Ian Rarick doubled and scored three times to go along with a stolen base. Adam Bastone (RBI, run scored), Aiden Rarick (RBI, run scored) and Brady O’Donnell (RBI, four runs scored) all had a hit two stolen bases apiece.
