Several Monroe County fire companies responded to a dwelling fire Sunday afternoon in Polk Township. The fire was reported just after 3 p.m. at 156 Valley Road West. Reports were the home had smoke conditions. Firefighters were on scene for about an hour. No injuries were reported in the incident. Also responding was the West End ambulance.
