Kline also scores two runs for the winners, who break a 3-3 tie in the fifth inning and finish the contest with eight unanswered runs. Dick Young finishes with two hits and two runs, while Jimmy Young and “Hub” Becker both contribute a pair of hits and a run scored. The Indians, managed by Bill Roeder, also receive a hit and three runs scored from Gus Pajakinas.
