NLRA announces schedule for UnWind series

Adam Sorber and Blue Mountain Vineyards will kick off Northern Lehigh Rec.’s Wednesday UnWind series June 9.

From 6-8 p.m., people will be able to sample some of Blue Mountain’s popular wines and purchase bottles while listening to the music of crowd favorite, Adam Sorber.

Physical distancing will be required as will face masks.

Sorber sings and plays a variety of instruments, including pedal steel guitar, banjo and guitar. Adam also plays with the popular country band, Tommy Guns Band.

Blue Mountain Vineyards in New Tripoli, is owned and operated by Joe and Vickie Greff. They opened in 1993.

Over the years, they have received many awards and in 2002 were identified by USA Today as one of the top three wineries in the state.

Diggity Dogs, the concert’s sponsor, will also be open at the trailhead during the program and offering a variety of dinner options.

Wednesday UnWine’d will continue on alternating Wednesdays throughout the summer and into September:

• June 9: Adam Sorber and Blue Mountain Vineyards

• June 23: Jeni Hackett and Sleepy Cat Urban Winery.

• July 14: Steve Brosky and Wine & More on First

• July 28: Mike Pilgermayer and Blue Mountain

• Aug. 11: Eliza Rush and Sleepy Cat

• Aug. 25: Tim Harkal and Wine & More

• Sept. 8: Jordan White and Blue Mountain

• Sept. 22: Adam Sorber & Sleepy Cat
