April 24, 2013 - Palmerton freshman pitcher Kendra Pekurny pitches a one-hit shutout to lead the Blue Bombers to a 2-0 Colonial League softball victory over Palisades. Pekurny strikes out nine batters in her seven innings of work. Abby Reimer collects two hits and scores a run for the Bombers, who break a scoreless tie by tallying in the fifth inning. Ashley Lalik also finishes with a pair of hits for the winners, coached by Glenn Reimer, while Janel Tracy contributes a double, run scored and an RBI.
