Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following financial matters on Monday:
• The purchase of a Western 9-foot Pro Plus Snowplow through COSTARS for $7,231.
• An agreement with T-Mobile to provide CIPA-compliant, education-only filtered internet access for students who do not have internet access at their home, so they can utilize their laptops and Chromebooks. It’s a 12-month term for 15 devices, which will be funded with funds from the ESSER grant.
• A tuition fee of $30 per student for a one-week elementary summer band program and also approve a stipend for summer band program director Steven Jonkman, whose stipend will be equal to the amount collected for student participation, but will not exceed $1,000. The summer band program will run Aug. 16-20.
• The agreement with School Operations Services Group Inc. to provide substitute custodial services to the district effective through June 30, 2022.
• The two-year advertising agreement with Royal Publishing to provide Sports Pocket Schedules to the district at no cost to the district.
• Administration to sign the CSIU eService Rates contract for accounting, payroll and personnel software services for the 2021-22 school year.
