Northern Lehigh School Board approved the following personnel matters on Monday:

Retirements at the end of the school year:

• Monica DeLong, emotional support paraprofessional, after 22 years of service.

• David Oertner, high school science teacher, after 39 years of service.

• Theresa Cinicola, high school science teacher, after 34 years of service.

• Alice Liebermann, ESL/Gifted Teacher, after 15.25 years of service.

Resignations:

• Allison Rosene, cafeteria monitor, effective Feb. 12.

• Frank Damian, districtwide permanent substitute, effective April 19.

• Peggy Perry, full-time Life Skills Support aide, effective April 7.

• Shawn Wanamaker, paraprofessional, effective June 11, or upon hiring of replacement.

Appointments:

• Shawn Wanamaker from paraprofessional to administrative secretary to the Director of Support Services & Transportation, at a salary $30,750 (prorated), June 14, or upon replacement of prior position.

• Drake Pristash as districtwide permanent substitute teacher for the 2020-2021 school year as of April 6. Pristash will be paid a daily per diem rate of $120 and will receive district health benefits according to the Affordable Care Act regulations with co-payment amounts equivalent to that of district personnel.

• Michael Hamm as a bus/sub driver from Brandywine Transportation to transport Northern Lehigh School district students for the 2020-2021 school year.

• Margaret Blose, Deborah Geiger, Sharon Karpiszin, Jennifer Levan-Uhler and Nancy Wagner as unpaid volunteer aides in the district for the 2020-2021 school year pending clearances.
