The Jim Thorpe fire department utility truck is parked along Brady Lake Road as its members join the search for 72-year-old Ronald Nicholas, who was last seen April 5. Fire companies from Monroe, Carbon and Luzerne counties have mounted a large search in the vast and heavily wooded area. The operation began when Nicholas’ pickup was found in the parking lot adjacent to the lake. The lake is several miles north of Route 940 in Coolbaugh Township.
