State police at the Fern Ridge barracks said Johnathan Moyer, 26, of Pocono Lake, was committed to the Monroe County Correctional Facility, Snydersville, on several charges after incidents that happened between 9 p.m. March 12 and 7:20 a.m. March 13 along Cider Mill Road in Jackson Township.

Police said they were called to investigate the theft of medical marijuana, during which time Moyer was identified as the actor. Police said he was operating a 2010 Toyota Camry without permission of the owner.

During the probe, police said they learned multiple warrants had been issued against Moyer. He was stopped and taken into custody without incident while traveling north on Route 115.

Police searched the car and Moyer had the medical marijuana, a rifle and suicide notes. Police said the man was also found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Police said he refused chemical testing and was incarcerated.
