State police at Schuylkill Haven

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on the following incidents investigated by troopers.

• On March 8 at 6:50 p.m. troopers were dispatched to a residence along Ash Street in Cressona borough for an active domestic dispute. On scene Philip Cicero, 37, of Pottsville, was taken into custody and charges of simple assault and harassment. He was arraigned before on-call District Judge Stephen Bayer, of Tamaqua, and released on $10,000 unsecured bail. The victim of the assault was a 28-year-old female from Cressona, troopers said.

• On March 8 at 12:06 a.m. troopers were dispatched to the area of 101 Main St., in Landingville borough, for a report of a crash. On scene the driver of the 2009 Subaru Legacy involved was not present. The driver, a 28-year-old man from Schuylkill Haven, who troopers declined to identify, was later located at his residence and placed under arrest for DUI.

• On March 2 at 10:22 p.m. troopers responded to a residence along Atlantic Street in Norwegian Township, for a report of a protection from abuse order violation. During the investigation it was learned that Bruce Kellman, 37, of Pottsville, made contact with a 27-year-old woman from Pottsville, which was a violation of the PFA order. An arrest warrant was issued for Kellman, troopers said.

• Troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2005 Hyundai Tiburon on Feb. 22 at 1:47 a.m. at Centre Pike and Brick Hill Road, in West Brunswick Township. The driver, a 40-year-old man from Saint Clair, who troopers declined to identify, was found to be under the influence and placed under arrest for DUI.

• On Feb. 23 at 11:55 p.m. troopers stopped a 2006 Dodge Durango along Route 61 at Mill Creek Avenue, in Pottsville. The driver, a 29-year-old man from Port Carbon, who troopers declined to identify, was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest for DUI.
