Irish eyes were smiling Saturday in Jim Thorpe as the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Mauch Chunk Division 1, and the Ladies AOH, Molly Maguires Division 1, honored the grand marshal and his aides for Sunday’s upcoming sixth annual Carbon County St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

At a dinner held at Dean Anthony’s banquet hall, Grand Marshal John “Jack” Mulligan of Jim Thorpe was the toast of the town.

Also recognized were aides to the grand marshal, including Regina Boyle Klein and Peggy Sue O’Donnell Harris, both of Jim Thorpe, John Barry of Nesquehoning and Joseph Dougherty of Coaldale.
