Your Building Centers has acquired Palmerton Lumber Company located in Palmerton, a full-time lumber and building material provider serving the Palmerton and the surrounding communities.

The acquisition is the third in four years for YBC, allowing more Pennsylvania residents to benefit from being an employee owner and allowing YBC to grow in the Pennsylvania market.

Palmerton Lumber was founded in 1995 by Andy Pisulak who died unexpectedly on Jan. 20. Steven Pisulak, Andy’s son, said that YBC is a great fit for Palmerton Lumber and for the employees of Palmerton Lumber. He knows that his father would be very proud knowing that the YBC acquisition of Palmerton Lumber has been completed.
