Parishioners of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Lansford, said their farewells to pastor, Monsignor Thomas Hoban, last night during a social hour in the church hall.

Hoban served the church for the past 10 years. He is also the Vicar for the Religious in the Allentown Diocese.

Last week, the priest learned of his transfer to St. Peter’s Church, Reading. The Rev. Robert A. Dressler, pastor at St. Bartholomew’s Church, Tresckow, will replace Hoban at St. Ann’s.

The departing pastor received gifts from the St. Ann’s Council of Catholic Women, the Parents Who Care Club, the Blue Army group and students of the parish elementary school.
