The Carbon-Schuylkill Industrial Development Corporation last night endorsed a traffic study completed by the Carbon County Planning Commission containing proposals for the construction of a bypass from the east end of Lansford in a northeast direction past the site of the former shop area of the L.N.C. Co. at the north end of the borough.

The development corporation will urge the State Highways Department to give immediate consideration to the bypass.

The corporation also approved construction of an additional 60,000-square-foot building shell in the Green Acres Industrial Park in the Hauto Valley, to be built east of the present building occupied by Quartite Creative Industries.
