Ashley A. Weale, 34, of Dallas, Luzerne County, sustained slight injuries in a crash at 4:25 p.m. Feb. 12 in the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

State police at the Pocono barracks said the crash occurred around milepost 74.4 in Parryville when Weale, driving a 2020 Lincoln Corsair, was southbound and became distracted. The car drifted and went onto the right shoulder of the road, traveled back into the right lane and then went into the left lane as it entered a sharp left turn. The car traveled onto the left shoulder and hit a concrete barrier and then continued on the left shoulder where it came to a halt about 135 feet from the initial point of impact.

Police said Weale suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by Lehighton Ambulance personnel.
