‘Take Auction for Kids’ for Big Brothers Big Sisters underway

“Take Auction for Kids” leads up to the 35th annual “Now More Than Ever - Be a Big Monroe” Telethon starting at 6 p.m. Sunday on Hazleton’s Channel 13 on Blue Ridge Cable.

All proceeds from both go to help the creation and support of one-on-one mentorships that defend the potential of youth through Big Brothers Big Sisters of NEPA.

Auction items include overnight stays in the Poconos to beachfront property in Maryland, restaurant gift cards in Monroe County and Irish step dancing lessons, a Weber Smokey Mountain 22-inch smoker, sports memorabilia from the New York Yankees’ Gleyber Torres, and a jersey from local Stroudsburg resident Sebastian Joseph who is now an NFL Player.
