Schuylkill League releases basketball playoff dates

The Schuylkill League met on Thursday and released the following information concerning its 2020-21 basketball playoffs:

Regular season games that are completed by Feb. 21 will be counted for the league standings. If all league games are not played by that date, playoff participants will be determined by league winning percentage.

Monday, Feb. 22

Tie Breaking Games if needed

Tuesday, Feb. 23 (at Martz Hall)

Girls semifinals

5 p.m. - Division 1 wildcard vs. the better record of the Division 2 and 3 champion

8 p.m. - Division 1 champion vs the lesser record of Division 2 and 3 champion

Wednesday, Feb. 24 (at Martz Hall)

Boys semifinals

5 p.m. - Division 1 wildcard vs. the better record of the Division 2 and 3 champion

8 p.m. - Division 1 champion vs the lesser record of Division 2 and 3 champion

Friday, Feb. 26 (at Martz Hall)

5 p.m. - Girls championship

8 p.m. - Boys championship

Attendance policy

• Due to the 5% capacity rule, Martz Hall capacity would be 250, which would include spectators and all game officials. All fans will be seated in the upper level and enter at the top entrance.

• In order to give each participating school the maximum number of fans, games will start at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. each night. Each school would get 125 tickets. When the first game is over, the gym will be cleared. Fans attending the second game will not be allowed in until after the gym is cleared.

• At halftime of the first game, the doors would be locked and no one else will be admitted

• All tickets will be presold and will cost $5 for everyone.

• Each game will have a different color ticket. Your ticket only entitles you to be present at your school’s game.

• Livestreaming of the games will be provided through the Hudl Focus camera. Links will be provided.
