District 11 on Friday announced more information as to how wrestling’s postseason will proceed.

The individual district tournaments will be Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 20-21. Class 3A at Parkland High School and Class 2A will be at the Charles Chrin Community Center in Palmer Township.

Regionals will be held Saturday, Feb. 27.

The 3A Northeast Regional, involving Districts 2, 11 and 12, will also be at the Chrin Center. The 2A Southeast Regional, involving Districts 1, 3, 11, and 12, will be at Central Dauphin East High School.

The Super Regionals, new this year, will be Saturday, March 6. Class 3A, which will also include District 1, will be at Quakertown High School and Class 2A, which will include Districts 2 and 4, will be at Martz Hall in Pottsville.

In both district tournaments, there will be two brackets of eight wrestlers each for a total of 16 wrestlers. In 3A, three wrestlers will advance to regionals; in 2A, it will be two. Four wrestlers will advance from each regional to super regionals, and four from there to the state tournaments.

The state championships will be held March 12-13 at the Giant Center in Hershey.
