February 6, 2014 - Marian’s Nick Kubishin comes off the bench to score 17 points to help the Colts earn a 44-32 Schuylkill League comeback victory over Weatherly. Kubishin, who had only played in a few games and hadn’t scored all season, enters the contest late in the first quarter with his team trailing by eight points. He hits a three-pointer in the closing seconds of the opening frame to spark a 12-2 Marian run . Kubishin, who was averaging 6.4 points per game at the JV level, finishes the contest with five treys. The Colts, coached by John Patton, also receive 10 points and 10 rebounds from Mike Vercusky.
