State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a road rage incident that occurred on Jan. 27 at 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of routes 903 and 115, in Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Alex Ryan, 24, of Blakeslee, stopped in his lane of travel and got out of his vehicle and verbally threatened a 59-year-old woman from Effort. Police said he threw a full one gallon water jug at her vehicle. He then fled the scene.

Troopers said a charge of harassment - physical contact, was filed against Ryan.
