LVHN, Weis accepting registration for vaccinations

The Pennsylvania Department of Health announced this week that phase 1a of its vaccination plan has now expanded to include people age 65 and older as well as people ages 16-64 with serious medical conditions.

Currently, all of the doses LVHN has in hand are accounted for through scheduled appointments. However, people can sign up to be notified when it’s their turn to schedule an appointment. No special information or codes are necessary.

Everyone with a MyLVHN account will be preregistered for a COVID-19 vaccine. You’ll receive a notification when you are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine and can schedule your appointment on MyLVHN. If you do not have a MyLVHN account, you can create one at MyLVHN.org. You do not need to be a current patient of LVHN, LVPG or Coordinated Health to open a MyLVHN account.

Weis Market

Weis Markets announced it is administering COVID-19 vaccinations in 55 of its in-store pharmacies throughout Pennsylvania.

Weis pharmacy staffs will prioritize individuals 65 and older for COVID-19 immunizations.

Weis pharmacies will also prioritize COVID-19 immunizations for people aged 16-64 with high-risk conditions including cancer, chronic kidney disease, smoking, COPD, heart conditions, Down syndrome, obesity and diabetes.

To receive the vaccine, customers must schedule an appointment at https://www.weismarkets.com/pharmacy-services. Appointment sign-ups are available one day before the immunization, and a face covering is required.
