Residents awoke Wednesday morning to a coating of white, shown here in Hometown. While not a deep snow, it was enough to impact the morning commute and even to summon plows in some locations.

Flurries and snow showers will move through this morning and there could also be a few locally heavier squalls. This could result in slippery conditions, significantly reduced visibilities, and a quick coating of snow.

Flurries are also predicted Thursday and Friday.
