Carbon County Friends of Animals is hosting a chicken and beef dinner fundraiser on April 25.

The drive-thru event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the shelter 77 W. 13th St., Jim Thorpe.

People can order tickets for either a boneless chicken breast meal or a roast beef meal, which will be provided by A&C Catering.

Tickets must be purchased ahead of the event since only a limited number of meals will be available.

The cost for a ticket is $10 and can be purchased at CCFOA, Deezine Flower Shop in Jim Thorpe, Deet’s Cuts and Curls in Lehighton and Country Clippers Pet Grooming in Palmerton.

In addition to the meals, a door prize drawing will take place for anyone who brings an item from CCFOA’s wish list or makes a monetary donation.
