Chris Van Dine starts the comeback with a decision at 135 pounds, while Lee Rau follows with a pin at 140 that ties the team score. Paul Melicharek gives Thorpe the lead with a decision at 145 before Dave Candelario (152) and Joe Ockenhouse (160) clinch the match with falls. The match was the preliminary of the Bloomsburg-Drexel match, which served as part of the Take Down Drugs Program.
