December 31, 2012 - Nine Pleasant Valley players, led by quarterback Brandon Leap, are named to the Times News Football All-Star First Team. Leap threw for 2,164 yards and 22 touchdowns to help the Bears post an 8-4 mark. Teammates joining Leap on the First Team include Austyn Borre (RB), Sekou Jones (WR), Andrew Romeo (WR), Mike Benner (OL), Dominick Ammirato (OL), Marquis Brown (DL), Dakota Everett (LB), Tony Bell (DB) and Jordan Caffrey (K). Tamaqua places six on the top squad, including Luke Matsago (OL), Austin Resch (OL), Nick Hollenbach (DL), Nolan Zeigler (LB), Dalton Nunemacher (DB) and Dustin Vandermartin (DB).
