December 18, 2009 - A big first half from Corey Cinicola and a strong second-effort by Sam Lux help Jim Thorpe pull away from Tamaqua for a 67-48 Schuylkill League victory. Cinicola tallies 23 of his game-high 25 points in the opening two quarters as the Olympians, coached by Brian Carroll, gain a 10-point halftime lead. Lux nets 14 of his 15 points over the final two frames as Thorpe widens its advantage. Cinicola also finishes with 13 rebounds, while Rashid Epps contributes a double-double with 11 points and 12 boards. The winners also receive 12 points from Dean DiBonifazio.
