A Schuylkill County driver was involved in a one-vehicle crash at 4:03 p.m. on Nov. 30 along Route 309 in Lynn Township, Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said Todd P. Tyson, 50, of New Ringgold, was driving a 2011 Ford Fiesta northbound in the right lane when the vehicle hydro-planed causing Tyson to lose control. The vehicle crossed the left northbound lane while spinning clockwise. The vehicle then hit an embankment on the west shoulder of the road. It continued north on the shoulder and struck a utility pole, continued north and then struck a boulder, coming to final rest off the west shoulder facing north.

Tyson was not injured. The vehicle was towed.

Tyson was cited for driving a vehicle at a unsafe speed.
