Holiday Favorites

Northampton Community College Chefs Katie Horan and Will Rufe and culinary program administrator Cindy Litzenberger will be coming straight to you from the Hampton Winds Kitchen to share their expert tips and favorite family recipes from their holiday traditions.

This free, interactive virtual presentation will take place on Dec. 10 at 4 p.m. Go to northampton.edu/virtual to register.

The host will be Chef Francine Marz, who will share some of her cooking tips and a dash of fun.

Annual Craft Fair

Northampton Community College’s Alumni Association is holding its Annual Craft Fair online now through Dec. 18.

More than 45 crafters are offering their unique, handcrafted items, including seasonal goods, jewelry, wood décor, accessories, pet treats, gourmet chocolates and foods, and much more.

The event is free and shoppers can browse for the perfect gift at www.northampton.edu/virtualcraftfair.

Build a 3-D Printer

Build a 3-D printer from a kit that will be provided, while learning the basics behind all fused-deposition printers, Monday and Wednesday, Jan. 11 and 13, 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the Fab Lab, Northampton Community College’s Fowler Family Southside Center, 511 E. Third St., Bethlehem.

After this class, you can use the lab to make larger and faster printers.

Cops ‘n Kids Events

Northampton Community College will hold Cops ‘n Kids events on several Saturdays during the fall semester at the Just Born Cops ‘n Kids Reading Room at the Fowler Family Southside Center, 511 E. Third St., Bethlehem. Each session runs from 10 a.m.-noon.

Masks are required for all attendees. Attendance is limited, and preregistration is required. Register at lvcops-n-kids@att.net.

Low-Cost Dental Cleanings

Dental hygiene students at Northampton Community College are welcoming new patients to the Litwak Dental Clinic in the college’s Fowler Family Southside Center to provide multiple oral assessments, cancer screenings, dental cleanings, radiographs, fluoride treatments and dental screenings, all under the supervision of licensed hygienists and dentists.

The clinic is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the fall, and dental cleanings are free for all NCC credit students. Members of the public can utilize the services for a nominal fee.
