A Slatington man has been charged with stabbing another man multiple times at a home in Washington Township Saturday afternoon.

According to the affidavit of probable cause filed by trooper Zachary McCornac of the Pennsylvania State Police, Troop M, Bethlehem barracks in the case against Larry Keiser:

At 5:43 p.m., the victim, 32, of Slatington, contacted the Bethlehem barracks to report that he received multiple stab wounds to his arm outside of a residence located in the 9000 block of Loop Road, Washington Township.

The victim said that the person responsible for stabbing him was Larry Keiser, 54.

McCornac called the victim to inquire about his status, at which time he said that he was suffering from excessive bleeding and that he was beginning to lose feeling in some extremities.

Troopers Michael Bretzger and Rafe Simmons arrived on scene and made contact with the victim, and observed him to have suffered multiple stab wounds to his arm and wrist, and that this wound was bleeding excessively.

Troopers interviewed the victim, at which time he said that he was standing in front of Keiser’s trailer speaking to him through the glass door.

At some point, Keiser opened the glass door and brandished a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times.

The victim retreated toward his residence, at which time he observed Keiser return back into his residence.

Emergency medical services arrived and transported the victim to Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest.

McCornac observed a trail of blood on the porch of the victim’s residence that led toward a room located at the rear of the residence, and also saw a large pool of blood located in the kitchen area.

The landlord of the location arrived on scene, and received a text message from Keiser which stated, “Can u please come home. I just (expletive) up (the victim). Before cops come. Thanks.”

Trooper Thomas Rummerfield of the Pennsylvania State Police, Troop M-Fogelsville Criminal Investigation Unit interviewed the victim at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest.

The victim said he returned from moving belongings to another residence, and that he observed Keiser standing outside his residence.

Keiser and the victim then engaged in a verbal argument at which time the victim followed Keiser back toward his residence. Keiser then entered his residence and their argument continued through a shut sliding glass door.

During the argument, Keiser told the victim, “I’ll (expletive) kill you. I’ll stab you. I’ll stab you. I’ll stab you.”

Keiser then opened the sliding glass door as the victim attempted to keep it shut, and Keiser used his right arm to stab the victim four times in his left forearm.

The first stab wound penetrated fully through the victim’s left forearm, and after being stabbed, the victim retreated back toward his residence, at which time he heard what he believed to be Keiser breaking stuff within his residence.

Keiser faces charges on two counts of aggravated assault, and one count of simple assault.

He is currently incarcerated in the Lehigh County Prison in lieu of $25,000, 10 percent bail, and scheduled to have a preliminary hearing Dec. 18 in Lehigh County Central Court in Allentown.
