November 23, 1985 - Two former area football players face off against each other in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference championship game. Marian graduate Cas Kosciolek and the Bloomsburg Huskies down Northern Lehigh alum Craig Scheffler and the IUP Indians, 31-9, for the school’s first PSAC gridiron title. Kosciolek makes five solo tackles, three assisted tackles and also intercepts a pass to help the Bloomsburg defense shut down IUP’s highly-touted offense. Scheffler finishes with two catches for 67 yards and his team’s only TD.
