Lehighton state police report on incidents

State police at Lehighton reported on the following incidents.

• Troopers said on Nov. 9 at 7:22 p.m. along Chestnut Drive in Ross Township, Monroe County, John Danca, 55, of Blakeslee, was observed causing a disturbance. He was cited for disorderly conduct.

• On Oct. 18 at 3:22 p.m. troopers responded to Beltzville Drive in Polk Township, Monroe County, for a protection from abuse order violation. On scene a 50-year-old woman from Kunkletown reported that a 49-year-old man from Brodheadsville, who troopers declined to identify, violated a PFA she had against him by coming to her residence. He left the scene before troopers arrived. A short time later the suspect turned himself into police. He was charged with criminal contempt for violating the order.

• On Oct. 30 troopers were dispatched to a report of a burglary at a residence along Chestnut Drive Lane in Ross Township. On scene a 58-year-old Saylorsburg man reported someone removed a 1996 green Polaris Sportsman all terrain vehicle from the garage area and damaged the door in the process. Damages to the door were estimated at $1,000.

The theft occurred sometime between 7 and 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 30.

• On Oct. 26 at 1:57 p.m. a 45-year-old East Stroudsburg man reported two catalytic converters were stolen from his business located off Route 115 in Ross Township, Monroe County.
