State police at Fern Ridge report knife threat, crash

State police at Fern Ridge reported on the following incidents:

• On Oct. 14 at 12:15 a.m. troopers investigated a crash along Route 903 at Maury Road, in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County. The driver, John Rauscher, 34, of Kirkwood, New York, was taken into custody for driving under the influence and transported to the Lehighton hospital for a blood draw.

• On Oct. 31 at 2:28 p.m. troopers were dispatched to the 100 block of Edgewood Drive, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, for a report of an active domestic incident with a knife involved.

During the course of the investigation it was determined that Lorraine Cline, 52, of Brodheadsville, threatened to kill a 62-year-old man from Brodheadsville with a knife. Cline was taken into custody and charged with terroristic threats and related offenses. She was arraigned before a district judge and released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
