State police at the Lehighton barracks are investigating a hit-and-run crash that happened at 8:37 a.m. Oct. 31 at the intersection of Hahns Dairy and Forest Inn roads in Lower Towamensing Township.

Police said a vehicle, believed to be a light green Subaru Outback, stopped at the stop sign on Hahn’s Dairy Road and attempted to make a left turn onto Forest Inn Road when it struck a 2005 Toyota Camry driven by Bruce R. Morrison, 72, of Palmerton, who was northbound on Forest Inn Road at the time. Neither Morrison nor his passenger, Susan Morrison, 57, also of Palmerton, were injured.
