Convenience store gets approval to sell six-packs

Penn Forest Township cleared the way for a local convenience store to begin selling six-packs of beer.

Last week, an LLC which owns the Penn Forest Plaza Sunoco received approval to transfer a restaurant liquor license from a former bar in White Haven.

The township supervisors voted unanimously to approve the transfer.

The license formerly belonged to the East Side Inn, located in White Haven.
