A Schuylkill County driver was one of three involved in a rear-end type crash that occurred at 4:19 p.m. on Oct. 19 along Route 100, at Herber Road, in Lowerhill Township, Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville identified the drivers as Derek J. Dorney, 21, of New Tripoli, driving a 2017 Dodge Ram truck; Laurel J. Geiger, 59, of New Ringgold, driving a 2010 Honda CRV; and Nicholas J. Haberle, 39, of Glenside, Montgomery County, driving a 2007 Honda Accord.

Troopers said all three were following each other when another vehicle was stopped attempting a left turn onto Herber Road. At three began to slow down due to the turning vehicle with Dorney’s vehicle rear-ending Geiger’s vehicle pushing it into Haberle’s vehicle. No one was injured. The Honda CRV had to be towed.
