A grant writing basics virtual seminar will be held for Carbon County based organizations at 6 p.m. on Monday.

The seminar is hosted by the Carbon County Council of Governments, the Nonprofit & Community Assistance Center along with the Carbon County Commissioners, Carbon County Community Foundation and state Rep. Doyle Heffley’s office.

Presented by Kurt Bauman, executive director of the Nonprofit & Community Assistance Center, this seminar is intended to introduce the basics of effective grant writing, preparation and submission strategies.

Participation in this seminar offers an opportunity to learn new approaches in grant writing and how to increase your chances of getting funded.
