State police at Lehighton reported troopers are investigating a report of suspected child abuse.

Troopers said the alleged abuse occurred at a residence along Beltzville Drive in Polk Township, Monroe County, involving a 17-year-old female as the victim.

The investigation is continuing. Police did not release any other details.
