The win gives Palmerton the Lehigh Valley League regular-season championship, increasing its league mark to 6-0. Jeff Rehrig and Pete Turner finish tied for second, while Peter Wasilousky takes seventh. The Bombers, coached by Bill Piper, also receive a ninth from Mike Stemler. For the Indians, Dave Long is their top runner with a fourth-place finish.
