The Bears, coached by Steve Kun, win despite having five starters out, including running back Rich Meixsell and quarterback Gary Bruch. Warner gets PV on the board in the second quarter when he tosses a 15-yard TD pass to Ron Cameron, and adds a second tally in the final frame when he reaches the end zone on a 20-yard run.
