The menu at the Panther Valley Senior Center for the week of Oct. 5 through Oct. 9 is as follows:

Monday: Chicken club wrap, cucumber salad, apple slices

Tuesday: Tuna salad sandwich, coleslaw, grapes

Wednesday: Waldorf salad, roll, fruit salad

Thursday: Turkey salad sandwich, carrot salad, grapes

Friday: Beef strip salad, roll, pineapple

The Panther Valley Senior Center has announced upcoming events through Oct. 9.

Bingo on Oct. 1 at 10:45 a.m.; Cornhole on Oct. 2 at 11 a.m.

Scattergories on Oct. 5 at 11 a.m.; birthday bingo on Oct. 6 at 10:45 a.m.; flu shots on Oct. 7 from 10 a.m. to noon, call the center to preregister; bingo on Oct. 8 at 10:45 a.m.; Wii bowling on Oct. 9 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Anyone coming to the center for a lunch or a social visit must preregister since we have a maximum 16-person capacity.

If someone is interested in coming for lunch or to check on activities, they can call the center at 570-669-9930 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• Panther Valley Public Library: Oct. 21, Nov. 4 and 25 and Dec 2.

• Summit Hill Heritage Center: Oct. 28, Nov. 18.

• PV/Nesquehoning Senior Center: Oct 27, Nov 10 and 24.
