September 29, 1956 - Steve Kusko scores three touchdowns and throws for three more to lead Nesquehoning to a 60-7 rout of Parkland. Kusko rushes for 100 yards and two scores, completes 6-of-9 passes for 85 yards and returns an interception 45 yards for a TD. Eddie Kocha and Bob Macenka both catch a scoring pass and reach the end zone on a rushing attempt. The winners, coached by Tony Mezza, finish the contest with 520 yards of offense including 347 on the ground. The Nesquers also receive touchdowns from Tony Malaska and Ron Kinek.
