September 19, 1998 - Brian DeGiosio and Noel Abadia both rush for 100 yards, and Panther Valley’s defense forces six turnovers as the Panthers pull away from Jim Thorpe for a 55-21 victory. DeGiosio carries 17 times for 124 yards and three touchdowns, and adds a fourth score on a punt return. Abadia collects 111 yards on 11 attempts and finds the end zone two times. The winners, coached by Rick Bennett, also receive a 28-yard interception return for a TD from Rob Conway. Danny Blazosky also picks off a pass and forces a fumble.
