The Pennsylvania Department of Health reported 920 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 143,805. York County is reporting an increase of 129 cases.

There are 7,862 total deaths attributed to COVID-19, an increase of 25 new deaths reported.

In nursing and personal care homes, there are 21,844 resident cases of COVID-19, and 4,742 cases among employees, for a total of 26,586 at 951 distinct facilities in 61 counties. Out of our total deaths, 5,293 have occurred in residents from nursing or personal care facilities.

Approximately 10,056 of the state’s total cases are among health care workers.

Locally, Carbon County remained level at 436 cases and 28 deaths.

Lehigh County reported 5,366 cases, an increase of 22 cases, with 345 deaths.

Luzerne County has 3,941 cases, an increase of 15, with 189 deaths.

Monroe County reported no new cases. The count remains at 1,753, with 129 deaths.

Northampton has 4,224 cases, an increase of 14. There are 302 deaths.

Schuylkill County is reporting 1,029 cases, an increase of three, and 51 deaths.
